“I started seeing Dr. Boxer when I removed my IUD and my husband and I started thinking about having a baby. I was having trouble getting my menstrual cycle regular but within a month and half of Dr. Boxer’s Acupuncture, Herbal and Vitamin treatment, I was able to regulate my period and ovulation cycle. One month later, I was pregnant!!
I continued to receive weekly Acupuncture treatments throughout my pregnancy and I have to say, it was the only thing that kept me sane. I believe that our weekly sessions are what led to a healthy, happy, stress free (and nauseas free) pregnancy. Dr. Boxer’s good natured attitude is so helpful and I looked forward to our appointments every week. When I did encounter some bumps in the road, Dr. Boxer constantly checked in on me and made sure I was doing OK. She goes above and... Over the last several years, she has treated me for a variety of conditions, both chronic and specific, including sciatica, headaches and sleeplessness. I never once left her office without feeling better. Though I was raised in a very traditional western medicine home, I now find that my first instinct is to turn to Mindy and acupuncture for almost every ache and pain. In addition to her many skills as a healer, Mindy is also just a wonderful person to be near and that alone is worth the price of admission.
Headaches, Insomnia & Sciatica was last modified: May 15th, 2013 by admin“Before I came to Mindy, I suffered from extreme menstrual symptoms– such as vice-grip headaches, excessive bleeding, overly emotional, an overall fogginess, etc. After about four weeks under her care, I began to slowly see the once debilitating symptoms, begin to lessen. That was a year and a half ago. Since then, I have been able to apply acupuncture and herbal medicine to all areas of my life, including depression, anxiety, a concussion from a random accident, even the common cold.
I’m generally someone who is not comfortable with doctors, but Mindy is warm, extremely compassionate and genuinely cares about my health and well being. She’s extremely passionate about what she does, and continuously strives to stay abreast of the most current methods.
“I have seen many results in the last year, and now consider acupuncture, herbal medicine and Mindy Boxer a part of taking great care of... Read more »
“Acupuncture has really helped me over the last year restore a healthy balance to my life – both mentally and physically. I have a pretty hectic job and a heavy travel schedule. The addition of Acupuncture to my weekly schedule has helped significantly in keeping my body in routine, maintaining sleep patterns, overcoming stress & anxiety, keeping me from illness and helping build my physical strength.”

“We tried for 2 years to get pregnant. I have PCOS and wasn’t ovulating. I tried many fertility procedures including clomid and IVF without success. Complications from IVF left my uterus scarred, and doctors recommended I consider surrogacy. At 32 years old and healthy, I refused to give up the dream of having and carrying my own children. After researching alternative methods, we began treatment with Dr. Boxer. She is truly amazing and provided us with outstanding patient care. I say us, because she treated my husband, too! After 4 months of Acupuncture, Herbs, supplements, and Nutritional Counseling with Dr. Boxer, I was much healthier on every level, and decided to try clomid again. Not only did I become pregnant, but with identical twin girls. Dr. Boxer truly balanced my mind, body, and spirit!! I continued Acupuncture treatment during my first trimester and felt fantastic as a result. I... Read more »
