- TestimonialsIn addition to providing one of the most soothing environments in Los Angeles, Mindy offers an array of treatments that I have found to be incredibly effective and uplifting. Over the last several years, she has treated me for a variety of conditions, both chronic and specific, including sciatica, headaches and sleeplessness. I never once left her office without feeling better. Though I was raised in a very traditional western medicine home, I now find that my first instinct is to turn to Mindy and acupuncture for almost every ache and pain. In addition to her many skills as a healer, Mindy is also just a wonderful person to be near and that alone is worth the price of admission.

“I have been seeing Dr. Boxer for 10 months now and the experience has been great. She is very caring and knowledgeable. I always enjoy our weekly session as it is relaxing and soothing. After working with Dr. Boxer for 5 months utilizing Acupuncture & Herbs, my husband and I successfully conceived twins from our first IVF attempt! I strongly believe Dr. Boxer’s treatments played an important role in our success, and I am continuing Acupuncture throughout my pregnancy. I am always appreciative of her help and support. I highly recommend Dr. Boxer without any reservations!”

“I have been a patient of Dr. Boxer on and off now for over 10 years. I have never left her office without feeling a total change in my symptoms. They can be sinus related, chronic back and neck problems, stress from work and the list goes on. I am also a Breast Cancer survivor and Dr. Boxer helped me tremendously with the side effects of the Chemo Therapy I had to endure. There are few problems she is unfamiliar with as a professional and I put my trust in her completely. Acupuncture requires most often a series of treatments but it is well worth every second you are in her care. You won’t regret it and will celebrate your new sense of vitality and good health.”

Pregnant over 40! was last modified: August 22nd, 2013 by admin“After I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I looked into alternative treatment in addition to conventional methods. I truly credit my work with Dr. Mindy as part of the reason for my successful battle over breast cancer. Her treatment included acupuncture, nutritional advice, and herbal formulas. I felt confident in her experience and knowledge of holistic medicine. I appreciate that Dr. Mindy looks at the whole person when making treatment decisions. Dr. Mindy is a very passionate person and she has created a very peaceful space. I continue to see Dr. Mindy as part of my overall healthy lifestyle. Acupuncture is so relaxing…it’s better than a massage.”

I started seeing Dr. Mindy Boxer for acupuncture treatments in February. I was almost 39 and wanted to start a family. I had anticipated it taking a while to get pregnant and having to undergo potentially stressful and costly fertility treatments. But my husband and I found out in March that we were able to get pregnant on our own and would have our first child in November! I have to think that the acupuncture, which reduces stress and is reported to improve fertility, as well as the supplements Dr. Boxer provided and the guidance she offered for adopting a more healthful diet all contributed to our ability to get pregnant quickly. Dr. Boxer is knowledgeable, nurturing, has a positive energy, and is fun to work with. I look forward to my sessions with her each week, and so far I’ve had a relatively smooth pregnancy. I highly recommend Dr.... Read more »

While the Flu is actually not a season, we have become programmed to think of it as the months of November through March. On average, the flu hospitalizes thousands every year, especially the young and elderly. There are also a number of deaths related to the flu, mostly due to people already having compromised immune systems.
